Willingham School Association

REGISTERED CHARITY NO: 1039136

Willingham School Association (WSA) is a dedicated group of parents, carers, staff and governors of the school, who work to provide support to the school through fundraising events.

The WSA organises many fun family events through the year, which not only raise valuable funds for the school, but also brings the whole community of the school together. The money raised provides extra facilities, experiences and equipment for the pupils, that they would not otherwise have. On average, the WSA raises in excess of £10,000 a year!

Over the last year, the WSA has covered the cost of many activities and equipment, including:
- New ICT suite equipment, partially funded by the Co-op Community Funding
- Pantomime & Christmas crackers for the whole school
- Contribution towards school trips for every pupil
- Year 5/6 Viking Workshop
- Mathletics and Times Tables Rock Stars Subscriptions
- New art supplied for art class
- Coach for Choir to Royal Alert Hall
- Update of playground equipment
and many more…

We are very lucky to be one of the causes for Co-op Local Community Fund. Please support us for free by using your Co-op membership card and selecting the WSA as your chosen cause.

We are always looking for new ways to raise money and will always welcome enthusiastic new committee members to join our team. No matter how little time you have to spare, we are greatly appreciative of any help you can offer. Whether you can attend our monthly meetings, volunteer at one of our events or simply help with the photocopying - an extra pair of hands (and a fresh perspective!) makes all the difference!

If you have any suggestions or ideas please contact a committee member, send us an email, or drop a note into the School Office and they will ensure it gets passed on.
