Performance of 'Aesop's Fantastic Fables'

Last week, the children in Years 3 and 4 put on a very entertaining version of Aesop's Fables, which delighted audiences over three performances. The play had it all; a lazy grasshopper, an army of hardworking ants, helpful doves, a sneaky lion, a cunning fox and of course an overly competitive hare and a determined tortoise! The Year 4 children worked hard to learn their lines and it was wonderful to see so many of them grow in confidence as they performed on the stage. The Year 3 children also worked hard to learn the many songs in the play and were a brilliant choir to support the Year 4s.
Thank you to all of the adults who helped with the play, with a special thank you to Chloe Leaper for producing a stunning backdrop and to Mel Pinter and Sandra Tyrell for putting so much time and effort into creating so many of our props.
